| Purpose of Role | To implement and monitor EHS systems and practices at the highway project site to ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and organizational EHS requirements, thereby minimizing risks and promoting a culture of safety. | |||
| SECTION III: JOB REQUIREMENTS | ||||
| Total Experience in Yrs. (Minimum) | 12+ years in EHS related works in Highway projects. | |||
| Qualification | Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) or Science (Physics/Chemistry), Preferably with Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Safety or Environmental Management. | |||
| Specific Certification / Additional Certifications (if Any) | Certification in Industrial Safety from a Government-recognized institute (Mandatory), NEBOSH / IOSH / ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 Auditor Training (Preferred). | |||
| Technical/ Functional Skills Requirement | Knowledge of EHS laws and statutory compliance, Hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRA), Incident investigation and root cause analysis, Emergency preparedness & response planning, Conducting toolbox talks, safety drills, and EHS audits, Proficiency in preparing EHS reports and documentation, Familiarity with EHS software, ERP, and Microsoft Office tools. | |||
