Position: Mining Manager (Class-II Certificate)

Location: Jharkhand Projects (JH 10, JH 13 & Jamshedpur)

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mining Engineering.

• Certification: DGMS First or Second Class Manager’s Certificate of Competency (Opencast Mines) – mandatory.

• Experience: 8–15 years of experience in mining or quarry operations; at least 3–5 years in highway or infrastructure projects preferred.

• Knowledge:

  • DGMS & Mines Act compliance

  • Quarry operation & production planning

  • Safety, environmental, and quality management systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage mining and quarry operations for road construction materials (aggregates, GSB, WMM, etc.).

• Ensure statutory compliance with Mines Act, DGMS, and environmental clearances.

• Prepare and maintain statutory reports, registers, and records as per mining laws.

• Conduct daily inspections to ensure safe and efficient operations at quarry and crusher sites.

• Monitor excavation, drilling, blasting, and material loading/transportation activities.

• Coordinate with Crusher Plant, Material Engineer, and Planning team for production planning and material supply.

• Ensure optimal utilization of equipment and manpower at quarry sites.

• Implement and enforce safety standards and conduct safety drills and training for site personnel.

• Liaise with local authorities, contractors, and regulatory bodies for permits and approvals.

• Monitor stockpile management, weighbridge data, and material dispatches to construction sites.

• Maintain proper records of blasting operations, explosives consumption, and statutory returns.
