Designation
Manager / Sr. Manager – Elevated Structure Project
Reporting To
Head – Structures / Project Head
Role Objective
To plan, execute, and control elevated structural works at site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, schedules, quality, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Execution & Planning
-
Execute piling, pile caps, piers, pier caps, girders/segments, launching/erection, deck slab, bearings, and expansion joints.

Prepare and implement construction methodology, daily/weekly work plans, and look-ahead schedules.

Monitor progress against targets and support recovery actions.
Technical Control
-
Study and implement approved GFC drawings, BBS, and method statements.
-
Coordinate with Design / Proof Consultants for technical clarifications.
-
Ensure geometry control, level alignment, staging accuracy, and tolerance compliance.
Quality & Safety
-
Implement ITPs, cube testing, load testing, and inspection protocols.
-
Ensure safe execution of height work, launching, heavy lifting, and traffic interface activities.
-
Close NCRs and safety observations within assigned timelines.
Resource & Cost Control
-
Manage site manpower, subcontractors, plant, formwork, and consumables.
-
Monitor productivity norms and material consumption.
-
Support measurement, billing, and certification for executed works.
Coordination & Reporting
-
Coordinate with Planning, QA/QC, Safety, Survey, Casting Yard, and Road Works teams.

Interface with Client / PMC / IE during inspections and approvals.

Prepare daily progress reports and weekly review inputs.
Qualifications
-
B.E./B.Tech – Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
Experience
-
8–14 years in infrastructure projects
-
5+ years in elevated structure / bridge / viaduct execution
-
Exposure to segmental or girder launching and casting yard operations preferred
