SECTION II: PURPOSE OF THE ROLE  
Purpose of Role To ensure uninterrupted IT operations at the project site by providing end-to-end support for all hardware, networking, and software-related activities, implementing IT policies, and coordinating with the corporate IT team for escalations, upgrades, and compliance.
         
SECTION III:  JOB REQUIREMENTS   
Total Experience in Yrs. (Minimum) 5+ years of experience in a similar role at a project site.
Qualification Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent.
Specific Certification / Additional Certifications (if Any) CompTIA A+, N+, CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, ITIL Foundation.
Technical/ Functional Skills Requirement Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance (PCs, printers, networking devices), LAN/WAN configuration and basic network troubleshooting, Familiarity with Windows OS, MS Office, and standard office software, Understanding of antivirus, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions, Experience in data backup and recovery processes.

SECTION IV: ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Implement corporate IT infrastructure, networking, and security strategies at the project site, Ensure compliance with company-wide IT security policies, backup procedures, and data protection protocols, Maintain IT asset inventory at the site in line with corporate standards. 10%
Financial Management Assist in budgeting and tracking of site IT expenses (hardware, consumables, software licenses), Validate vendor invoices for IT-related procurements and services before forwarding for approval, Identify cost-saving opportunities in site-level IT operations without compromising performance. 15%
Operational Install, configure, and maintain desktop PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, and networking equipment at the site, Provide first-line troubleshooting for all hardware, software, and network issues, Maintain local servers, data storage devices, and backup systems, Ensure antivirus, OS updates, and licensed software installations are up to date, Set up and manage user accounts, email IDs, and access permissions as per corporate guidelines, Coordinate with internet service providers and vendors for connectivity and hardware support, Provide site-specific IT usage training to staff, Maintain IT helpdesk logs, tracking all support tickets raised and resolved. 55%
People Management Support site staff in effective use of hardware, software, and communication tools, Act as the liaison between corporate IT and project site for escalations, Assist in onboarding of new site employees by setting up IT accounts and assets. 20%
