SECTION II: PURPOSE OF THE ROLE  
Purpose of Role To execute and supervise construction of structural components including bridges, viaducts, station structures, platforms, underpasses, ROBs, and other railway-related structures as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards within defined timelines and budgets.
         
SECTION III:  JOB REQUIREMENTS   
Total Experience in Yrs. (Minimum) 2 + years of experience in similar role preferrably in railway project.
Qualification Diploma in Civil Engineering
B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (preferred)
Specific Certification / Additional Certifications (if Any) Certification in Bridge Engineering, Formwork Systems, or QA/QC in Construction (preferred)
Technical/ Functional Skills Requirement Strong understanding of structural drawings and construction sequences, Knowledge of IRC / MoRTH / IS codes applicable to structures, Hands-on experience in RCC, PSC girder works, pier and deck slab execution, Familiarity with bar bending schedules (BBS), staging systems, and shuttering methodology, Ability to maintain documentation including pour cards, cube testing records, and site logs.

SECTION IV: ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES  
Responsibility Area Responsibility % of Time Spent
Strategic Interpret structural drawings and design intent to ensure execution compliance, Assist in developing micro-level execution schedules aligned with master construction plans, Identify potential execution risks and communicate mitigation plans to the Structures Head. 20%
Financial Management Record daily executed quantities for each structure item for quantity tracking and billing support, Assist in preparation of subcontractor bills based on verified measurements, Monitor use of materials (e.g., concrete, steel, shuttering) to control wastage and cost overruns. 20%
Operational Execute foundation, substructure, and superstructure works including piers, abutments, PSC girders, bearings, deck slabs, and parapets, Ensure availability and deployment of formwork systems, lifting equipment, and concreting tools, Maintain site documents like pour cards, DPRs, inspection checklists, and work registers, Ensure adherence to safety protocols, barricading, and signage at work zones, Liaise with survey team for alignment and level checks before structural activities. 50%
People Management Supervise reinforcement, shuttering, and concrete placement as per drawing and specifications, Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspection approvals, cube testing, and quality compliance. 10%
