- To lead, plan, and execute all earthwork and formation-related activities of the railway project.
- Prepare detailed execution plans and schedules for earthwork, formation, and related civil activities.
- Supervise and monitor all earthwork operations—cutting, filling, compaction, and dressing of formation.
- Coordinate with survey and design teams for alignment, levels, and cross-section finalization.
- Ensure all earthwork activities conform to RDSO / Railway / IRC / MORTH specifications and approved drawings.
- Maintain quality documentation including checklists, inspection reports, and test results.
- Maintain record of borrow area approvals, excavation volumes, and disposal plans.
