SECTION II: PURPOSE OF THE ROLE  
Purpose of Role To lead and manage all electrical works at highway project that includes coordination for utility identification surveys (GPR, topographic, visual), Verify and validate existing utility drawings and field data. Sites including installation, testing, and commissioning of highway lighting, power distribution systems, toll plazas, control systems, and ensure compliance with safety standards, design specifications, timelines, and cost benchmarks. Strong understanding of utility networks and local authority processes.
         
SECTION III:  JOB REQUIREMENTS   
Total Experience in Yrs. (Minimum) 12+ years in Electrical related works in Highway project.
Qualification B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering – Mandatory, Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Specific Certification / Additional Certifications (if Any) Electrical Supervisor License from State Electrical Board, Safety Certification – Electrical Safety or Fire & Life Safety, Project Management Certification.
Technical/ Functional Skills Requirement Site execution of HT/LT distribution systems,Utility Shifting – EHV & HT/LT Lines, street lighting, and SCADA systems, Electricity Bill Monitoring, Knowledge of IRC, IS, IEC, and NHAI electrical specifications, Proficiency in reading electrical drawings, cable routing, panel wiring, Use of electrical testing tools (meggers, multimeters, earth testers), Hands-on experience in erection, testing & commissioning, Site coordination and team supervision, Vendor and contractor management, Cost and time control, Problem solving and safety compliance, Reporting and documentation.

Strategic Contribute to planning and execution strategy for electrical scope within highway EPC projects, Implement best practices and innovations in highway lighting, ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems), tolling systems, and energy-efficient solutions, Ensure alignment of on-ground electrical execution with design intent and project objectives, Support corporate initiatives on digital monitoring of site electrical systems. 25%
Financial Management Monitor electrical work budgets, resource utilization, and control cost overruns. Evaluate contractor/vendor quotes and ensure cost-effective procurement of electrical items, Assist planning and billing teams in monthly cost bookings, reconciliations, and verifications, Propose value engineering measures to optimize electrical execution cost. 25%
Operational Ensure proper documentation and certification of electrical works for timely client billing, Plan and oversee execution of all electrical activities including highway lighting, HT/LT distribution, DG sets, UPS, toll plaza power & control systems, fire detection, etc, Ensure timely testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems, Conduct daily tool box talks and ensure adherence to electrical safety SOPs, Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with statutory approvals and inspections. 40%
People Management Coordinate with design and planning teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of electrical layouts at site, Supervise contractors, enforce quality and safety standards, and resolve technical issues at site, Mentor and guide site electrical team including engineers, supervisors, and technicians. 10%
