SECTION II: PURPOSE OF THE ROLE  
Purpose of Role To ensure sound contractual governance and risk mitigation for railway infrastructure projects at site by managing the full lifecycle of client and subcontractor contracts. The role focuses on compliance, cost optimization through claims and variations, timely billing, and protecting the organization’s commercial interests.

Strategic Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks. Lead negotiations and dispute resolution processes, Interpret and implement contract provisions in alignment with client agreements and organizational policies, Align site contracts with corporate templates and policy frameworks. 25%
Financial Management Monitor and control project budgets in alignment with contract deliverables. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations, Ensure timely and accurate client billing and revenue recognition as per contract milestones, Quantify, document, and submit claims for variations, extra items, and delay damages. 25%
Operational Review, interpret, and implement contract conditions. Managing contract amendments, changes, and extensions. Drafting of SOC/SOD/Rejoinder for dispute matters. Interface with clients, consultants, and legal teams to resolve issues. Prepare periodic MIS reports on contracts and commercial matters. Ensuring contracts comply with legal and company policies. Drafting Contractual Correspondence. 40%
People Management Support procurement in drafting subcontract agreements. Ensure alignment with main contract terms and flow-down conditions, Conduct internal training for site engineers on contract compliance, notices, and commercial risks. 10%
