Job Summary

The SCM Executive is responsible for managing procurement, material planning, vendor coordination, logistics, and inventory control to ensure timely availability of materials at optimal cost and quality. The role requires strong coordination with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics partners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for materials and services

  • Generate and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) & Purchase Orders (PO)

  • Prepare material planning based on project/production requirements

  • Track shipments, delivery timelines, and logistics documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of GRN, PO, invoices, delivery challans, contracts

  • Monitor inventory levels, stock ageing, and ensure timely replenishment

  • Coordinate with store, accounts, production, and project teams

  • Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, and billing

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, GST & statutory requirements

  • Maintain ERP/MIS reports — procurement status, inventory, vendor performance

  • Support cost optimization initiatives and supply chain efficiency improvements


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Engineering, or related field

  • 1–4 years of experience in SCM/procurement/logistics

  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, Zoho, etc.) preferred

  • Knowledge of procurement cycle, logistics & inventory management
