Executive – Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

Key Responsibilities

Health & Safety

• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments at railway sites
• Identify hazards related to rail operations (track work, signalling, rolling stock, electrical, civil works) and recommend control measures
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and corrective actions
• Ensure use of PPE and safe work practices
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor safety compliance

Environment

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to railway operations and construction
• Manage waste disposal, spill control, noise, and air pollution norms

Training & Awareness

• Conduct HSE induction and refresher training for employees and contractors
• Organize safety drills, toolbox talks, and emergency preparedness exercises

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain HSE records, permits, safety checklists, and statutory documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Safety, Environment, or related field
• Diploma / Certification in Industrial Safety or HSE (preferred)

Experience

• 2–5 years of HSE experience in Railways / Metro. Knowledge of railway safety standards and statutory regulations is an advantage
