Key Responsibilities:

1. Operation & Maintenance Activities

• Carry out daily monitoring of plant performance and equipment health.

• Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities as per plan.

• Operate and maintain electrical systems — switchgear, transformers, inverters, and SCADA.

• Identify faults and assist in troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime.

• Maintain logbooks, checklists, and service records as per O&M procedures.

2. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Record and analyze daily generation data and performance parameters (PR, CUF, availability).

• Assist in root cause analysis for performance deviations and suggest corrective actions.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly O&M reports.

3. Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Follow all safety protocols, work permits, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Ensure compliance with statutory, contractual, and client requirements.

• Support audits, inspections, and documentation for HSE compliance.

4. Spares & Vendor Coordination

• Support in spares planning and maintaining adequate stock levels.

• Coordinate with OEMs and service providers for maintenance activities.

• Monitor vendor performance and assist in maintenance record management.

5. Team & Support Activities

• Support the site manager in manpower planning and task scheduling.

• Train and guide technicians and support staff on operational practices.

• Ensure proper handover/takeover of shifts with accurate documentation.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Sound knowledge of electrical systems, solar plant/BESS/substation operations.

• Ability to read electrical drawings and handle testing equipment.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, SCADA monitoring tools, and maintenance software.

• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.
