| SECTION II: PURPOSE OF THE ROLE | ||||
| Purpose of Role | To assist in planning, supervising, and executing highway construction activities—including earthwork, subgrade, base courses, bituminous works, and drainage—ensuring timely and quality completion in line with project specifications and safety standards. | |||

| Qualification | Diploma in Civil Engineering B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (preferred) |

| Specific Certification / Additional Certifications (if Any) | Short-term certifications in Highway Construction, Road Safety, or QA/QC (preferred but not mandatory) | |||
| Technical/ Functional Skills Requirement | Sound knowledge of highway construction activities and sequencing, Familiarity with IRC / MoRTH specifications and layer compaction norms, Ability to read construction drawings and implement work on ground, Basic understanding of surveying instruments and GPS levels, Strong documentation skills (DPRs, checklists, joint measurement records). | |||
