1. Human Resource Management

  • Handle recruitment & selection (job postings, screening, interviews, onboarding)
  • Manage employee lifecycle (joining to exit formalities)
  • Maintain employee records & HRIS systems
  • Oversee attendance, leave, and payroll coordination
  • Support performance appraisal processes
  • Address employee grievances and maintain healthy relations

2. Compliance & Statutory Requirements

  • Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws such as:
    • Factories Act, 1948
    • Shops and Establishments Act
    • Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952
    • Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972
  • Coordinate audits and maintain statutory registers

3. Payroll & Compensation Support

  • Coordinate payroll processing with finance
  • Ensure statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS)
  • Handle reimbursements and employee benefits

4. Administrative Management

  • Oversee office administration (facilities, housekeeping, security, transport)
  • Manage vendor contracts and office supplies
  • Ensure workplace safety and infrastructure maintenance

5. Policy Implementation

  • Implement HR policies and update employee handbook
  • Drive initiatives for employee engagement and welfare

6. Reporting & MIS

  • Prepare HR reports (attrition, attendance, hiring status)
  • Analyze workforce data for management decisions
