1. Human Resource Management
- Handle recruitment & selection (job postings, screening, interviews, onboarding)
- Manage employee lifecycle (joining to exit formalities)
- Maintain employee records & HRIS systems
- Oversee attendance, leave, and payroll coordination
- Support performance appraisal processes
- Address employee grievances and maintain healthy relations
2. Compliance & Statutory Requirements
- Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws such as:
- Factories Act, 1948
- Shops and Establishments Act
- Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952
- Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972
- Coordinate audits and maintain statutory registers
3. Payroll & Compensation Support
- Coordinate payroll processing with finance
- Ensure statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS)
- Handle reimbursements and employee benefits
4. Administrative Management
- Oversee office administration (facilities, housekeeping, security, transport)
- Manage vendor contracts and office supplies
- Ensure workplace safety and infrastructure maintenance
5. Policy Implementation
- Implement HR policies and update employee handbook
- Drive initiatives for employee engagement and welfare
6. Reporting & MIS
- Prepare HR reports (attrition, attendance, hiring status)
- Analyze workforce data for management decisions
