Job description

1. Establish, implement, and monitor the Quality Management System (QMS) at project level.

2. Ensure strict adherence to quality control procedures, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), method statements, and checklists.

3. Lead the QA/QC team comprising engineers, lab staff, and site quality inspectors.

4. Develop and review quality documentation: Quality Plans, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), CAPAs (Corrective & Preventive Actions), internal audit reports.

5. Ensure testing of materials (cement, steel, aggregates, concrete, structural steel, waterproofing, finishing, MEP works, etc.) as per relevant IS/IRC/IRS codes.

6. Monitor to ensure quality for structural & other works (pile foundations, pile caps, piers, pier caps, PSC girders, station buildings, concourse, architectural finishes, MEP installations, utilities shifting etc.).

7. Ensure compliance with contractual quality requirements, ISO 9001 standards, and safety/environmental management systems (OHSAS/ISO 45001, ISO 14001).

8. Coordinate with design consultants, PMC/GC, client, and contractors on quality issues.

9. Provide training, mentoring, and awareness sessions for site engineers and construction teams on quality practices.
