Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Structural Draftsman to support the design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects. The role involves preparing accurate structural drawings, coordinating with design engineers, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements across various infrastructure works such as roads, bridges, buildings, and industrial structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed structural drawings including GA drawings, reinforcement detailing, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings for infrastructure projects.

  • Develop drawings for RCC, steel, and prestressed concrete structures.

  • Interpret design calculations, sketches, and specifications provided by structural engineers.

  • Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and other disciplines to ensure drawing accuracy and consistency.

  • Revise drawings based on design changes, site inputs, and review comments.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.

  • Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and documentation as per project QA/QC procedures.

  • Provide drawing support during construction and address site-related queries.

  • Adhere to project timelines and quality requirements.

Software & Technical Skills

  • Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory).

  • Experience with Revit Structure / BIM software is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of RCC and steel detailing as per IS codes (or relevant international codes).

  • Knowledge of infrastructure-related structural components such as bridges, culverts, retaining walls, foundations, and industrial structures.

    Qualifications

    • Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering / Draftsmanship (or equivalent).

    • Certification in AutoCAD or BIM tools is an added advantage.

     

  • Experience Requirements

    • 5–8 years of relevant experience in structural drafting for infrastructure or EPC projects.

    • Proven experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects.

    • Familiarity with coordination between design, site, and consultant teams.
