Position Overview
The AGM – Solar O&M will be responsible for leading the operations and maintenance of solar power plants to ensure optimum performance, maximum plant availability, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and experience in managing large-scale solar assets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plant Operations & Performance

Oversee day-to-day operations of utility-scale solar power plants.

Monitor and analyze plant performance, ensuring achievement of PLF (Plant Load Factor) and generation targets.

Implement predictive and preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
2. Maintenance Management

Lead preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities for electrical, mechanical, and civil systems.

Ensure timely resolution of faults and restoration of plant operations.

Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for maintenance support.
3. Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and environmental requirements.

Drive implementation of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) practices across sites.

Conduct regular audits, inspections, and safety drills.
4. Team Leadership & Training

Lead and mentor site O&M teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.

Build strong technical capabilities through training and continuous improvement programs.

Ensure effective manpower deployment for smooth operations.
5. Vendor & Contract Management

Manage AMC contracts, spares procurement, and vendor relationships.

Negotiate and monitor service agreements to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

Ensure availability of critical spares and consumables.
6. Reporting & MIS

Develop and monitor KPIs for plant performance.

Prepare monthly/quarterly O&M reports for management.

Support financial planning through O&M budget preparation and cost control.
