| SECTION II: PURPOSE OF THE ROLE | ||||
| Purpose of Role | To manage the end-to-end execution of earthwork activities—excavation, embankment, backfilling, compaction, and disposal—ensuring technical quality, safety compliance, and adherence to timelines and budgets in railway infrastructure projects. | |||

| Qualification | B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Geotechnical Engineering (mandatory) M.Tech in Geotechnical / Infrastructure Engineering (preferred) |

| Technical/ Functional Skills Requirement | Expertise in cut-and-fill calculations, embankment stabilization, and drainage, Proficiency in using AutoCAD, MS Project / Primavera, and Earthwork quantity estimation tools, Knowledge of IS codes, MORTH/IRC guidelines for earthwork and compaction, Understanding of geotechnical reports and alignment with field execution, Ability to manage large equipment fleets and labor teams effectively. | |||
