SECTION II: PURPOSE OF THE ROLE  
Purpose of Role To lead and manage project planning, scheduling, quantity surveying, cost estimation, and billing functions at a solar EPC project site. The role ensures effective coordination between project execution and financial performance by implementing accurate planning, progress tracking, and billing processes. It covers multi-disciplinary project components such as civil works, module mounting structures (MMS), DC/AC electrical cabling, inverter stations, SCADA systems, and grid interfacing.

SECTION IV: ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES  
Responsibility Area Responsibility % of Time Spent
Strategic Create and maintain integrated time schedules for all phases of the solar project using Primavera P6 or MS Project. Include activities for civil foundation, MMS installation, DC/AC cabling, inverter yard, evacuation system, and grid connectivity. Define project milestones, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and resource-loaded schedules. Ensure schedule is aligned with client contracts, procurement lead times, and execution sequencing. 25%
Financial Management Prepare and manage project budgets in coordination with project controls and finance teams. Ensure proper allocation of costs across BOQ items and work packages. Oversee measurement and certification of completed works for subcontractor and client billing. Ensure compliance with BOQ, technical specifications, and quality norms. 25%
Operational Track and analyze daily execution progress through DPRs. Prepare and circulate weekly/monthly reports showing productivity, delays, resource utilization, and forecasted completion. Coordinate with project engineering, procurement, and execution teams to establish feasible work sequences and milestone targets. Support management in strategic decision-making by providing real-time progress updates and forecasts. 40%
People Management Supervise and guide a team of planning engineers, quantity surveyors, and billing personnel. Assign roles, track deliverables, and ensure team performance meets quality and schedule expectations. 10%
