Key Responsibilities:

Review and Evaluation of Geotechnical Reports:

Analyze geotechnical investigation reports (GTIR) submitted by vendors/consultants to ensure completeness, accuracy, and relevance for foundation and structural design.

Foundation Design for Bridges:

Design all types of bridge foundations (shallow, deep, pile, well, raft, etc.) based on geotechnical data, soil parameters, and site-specific conditions.

Ensure compliance with relevant codes (IRC, IS, AASHTO, etc.) and project specifications.

Reinforced Earth (RE) Wall Design Review:

Conduct detailed technical reviews of RE wall design submissions from vendors, focusing on stability, global and local factors, and construction feasibility.

Ensure alignment with project specifications and safety factors.

Slope Stability Analysis:

Perform slope stability assessments for high embankments using appropriate geotechnical software and methods (e.g., Limit Equilibrium Method, FEM).

Provide recommendations for slope protection, reinforcement, or ground improvement where required.

Technical Support and Site Coordination:

Address and resolve site queries related to geotechnical investigation reports, foundation design, and RE wall construction.

Provide timely technical clarifications and design adaptations based on actual site conditions.
