Key Responsibilities:

• Review and Evaluation of Geotechnical Reports:

  • Analyze geotechnical investigation reports (GTIR) submitted by vendors/consultants to ensure completeness, accuracy, and relevance for foundation and structural design.

• Foundation Design for Bridges:

  • Design all types of bridge foundations (shallow, deep, pile, well, raft, etc.) based on geotechnical data, soil parameters, and site-specific conditions.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes (IRC, IS, AASHTO, etc.) and project specifications.

• Reinforced Earth (RE) Wall Design Review:

  • Conduct detailed technical reviews of RE wall design submissions from vendors, focusing on stability, global and local factors, and construction feasibility.

  • Ensure alignment with project specifications and safety factors.

• Slope Stability Analysis:

  • Perform slope stability assessments for high embankments using appropriate geotechnical software and methods (e.g., Limit Equilibrium Method, FEM).

  • Provide recommendations for slope protection, reinforcement, or ground improvement where required.

• Technical Support and Site Coordination:

  • Address and resolve site queries related to geotechnical investigation reports, foundation design, and RE wall construction.

  • Provide timely technical clarifications and design adaptations based on actual site conditions.
