1. Prepare a comprehensive surveying plan covering all elevated and associated works.
2. Identify survey resource requirements (manpower, instruments, software).
3. Coordinate with Design, Planning, and Construction teams for survey inputs.
4. Establish project control points, benchmarks, and reference grids.
5. Monitor longitudinal and transverse alignment for precast/segmental erection.
6. Lead the survey teams and supervise daily field activities.
7. Ensure compliance with approved alignment, accuracy standards, and contractual tolerances.
8. Manage survey activities for launching girder, casting yard, span alignment, and station structures.
9. Ensure all survey work adheres to IS codes, Metro Rail standards, and QMS procedures.
10. Coordinate with client engineers, independent consultants, subcontractors, and internal disciplines.
11. Ensure compliance with project safety standards during survey operations.
12. Identify risks related to alignment discrepancies and take corrective action.
